If you have Grunnur, you are entitled to a class A rental car for up to five days while repairs are being carried out. If you prefer to be paid for loss of use (ISK 5,000 per day), send an email to the email address [email protected] after repair. Then the number of days the car was in the workshop is known and the amount is calculated based on that.
Customers of Premía in Arion Bank are entitled to a rental car in the same size category as their own vehicle, for up to five days while repairs are being carried out.
Loss of use and use of a rental car is based on normal repair time. If the repairs take longer, contact us and we will look into the matter with you.
Please note that we do not pay for a rental car, or loss of use, for the time repairs are delayed, for example due to an unusually long delivery time for spare parts.

If repair is not worthwhile, we will contact you regarding the purchase of the vehicle.

There is no deductible in liability damages for customers in Grunnur.
If the damage is smaller in size than an ISK 100 coin and not in the driver's line of sight, there is a good chance that the windshield can be repaired.
Wipe over the damage and place a windshield sticker over the break. Then go as soon as possible to the nearest certified car window repair shop.
If it is possible to repair the windshield, Vörður pays the full cost of the repair. Which means no deductible and nothing out of your pocket.
The deductible for car windshield damage is 25% of the total damage.
There is no deductible in windshield repairs.
